The AGM of the Milford Tritons Cycling Club will be held on Saturday 14th January 2017 at 8.00pm at Pembrokeshire Yacht Club, Gellyswick, Milford Haven.
On behalf of the Club Committee, I am pleased to invite you to attend the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Club.
Apart from the annual reports from officers of the club, the meeting also provides a forum for members to put forward their ideas for the future of the Club and this is something the committee welcomes.
Please note that whilst all are welcome, only senior paid up and signed in attendance members are eligible to vote. A proxy vote can be recorded by arrangement with the Secretary.
As he is undertaking a Level 2 Coaching Course of which the club needs at least one in order to attain Go-Ride status, Rob Allen has decided to stand down from his position as Chairman but is happy to remain on the Committee if elected.
Following a busy three years laying the administrative foundations from which the club can continue to grow as well as becoming one of the club’s Level 1 coaches, Jeff Arnold has also decided to stand down as Club Secretary and is also happy to remain on the committee if elected.
All other officers of the club have offered themselves for re-election. Nominations are therefore invited for the positions of Chairman and Secretary.
Voting members may make nominations for officers and committee or proposals to put before the meeting and such nominations and proposals must be received in writing by the Secretary by Friday 31st December 2016 to allow for proper consideration and consultation.
Notification of nominations for committee and proposals will be sent to all members on the club’s British Cycling member database for the year 2016 before the date of the meeting.
