Club Turbo Sessions

Starting WEDNESDAY 7th NOVEMBER at 7pm

Club turbo sessions will take place in Waterston Community hall (by the entrance to Dragon LNG). The hall will be open at 7pm and warm up will begin at 7.20 sharp. Thanks to the generosity of Dragon LNG these sessions are totally free for club members and we are extremely grateful for the use of the hall.

Non-members wishing to come may have 2 sessions to see if they want to continue and the club has a couple of turbos to loan for a trial.

Requirements for the session are

  • a bike
  • a turbo trainer
  • a towel
  • a mat or towel to put under the bike
  • plenty of fluids as you WILL sweat!
  • ideally something to measure heart rate or cadence though not essential

The sessions are progressive and will be gentle up to Christmas to keep the legs turning and build the base fitness and then ramp up towards the sportive season in the new year.

Look forward to seeing you there and hit the ground running (or cycling) into next season.

For details on the turbos please contact Jeff Arnold. They are NOT available for long term hire they are allocated on a first message first booked service week by week to enable everyone to have a fair chance.
