This weekend see the Long Course Weekend in Tenby and the Wales Velothon in Cardiff. There is Triton representation in both events with Simon de Wolf and Alexis George both taking on the tough challenges that Velothon offer. Both have made big effort and “put the miles” in and I know they will give it everything. Fuel regularly and put up with the soreness is all I can offer as advice!
In Tenby, to my knowledge Mark Whitby, Johnnie Treharne, Corina Holley, Graham Davenport, Simon Davies, Anne Picton, Steve Rodriguez, Andrew Hugman, Sue Whitby, Gloria Davis, Dave Perry, Karen Bayliss all take part in some or all of LCW.
On Tuesday the TT riders head to Resolven for a 10m Time Trial on the A465 dual carriageway – described as a fast course they’ll be looking for PBs all round! Again to my knowledge taking part are – Jeff Arnold, Rob Allen, Simon Davies, Jason Cole, Ant Hayward, James Phillips and “Triton in disguise” Tom Arnold.
It goes without saying that as a club we are proud of your achievements so good luck, ride safe and don’t come back wishing you tried harder.
