Due to the fact that it is impossible to know who or how many people are likely to turn up for the midweek rides, the Committee has decided not to publish routes for these rides.

The routes and group splits are to be decided on the night by the riders which means collectively you will have to take responsibility for organising the routes and the groups.

If you are riding please have a think of a route beforehand taking into account the weather and available light rather than leave it until 6pm to decide.

It is hoped that the experienced club riders ie those who have been riding with the club regularly will come to the fore with some route ideas and help out with organisation.

Please don’t forget ride etiquette and highway code (especially “taking turns on the front” and “no more than two abreast”) and ride safely as a group.

The Midweek Rides are well attended at the moment which is great to see. They are generally of about 20-25miles and little bit quicker than the Sunday rides. However if anyone wishes to ride at a slower pace over the same or a different distance then come along and I’m sure there will be others who wish to do the same.
Rides are held Tuesday and Thursday 6.3pm from the Meads Leisure Centre.
